Congratulations are in order for Jade!

Jade has recently been promoted to a marketing position at the J.C. Hart corporate office.  She is the new Marketing Analyst.  Jade is ecstatic about her new position but is sad to say goodbye to Legacy’s wonderful residents.  She has been such an asset to the community and will truly be missed.

Kendal Cruikshank, Leasing Specialist, is the newest member of the Legacy Team.

After growing up in Peru, Indiana, Kendal moved to Muncie to attend Ball State University.  She graduated from the university in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising.  Kendal is a newcomer to the multi-family industry.  She is learning quite a bit and enjoying doing so.  Kendal is looking forward to her growth in the industry with J.C. Hart and to meeting all of Legacy’s fabulous residents!

In other Community News…

- Please keep in mind that our community is in close proximity to the nature preserve, home to natural wildlife such as coyotes.  Please be mindful of this and remember to always walk your dog on a leash and to refrain from leaving trash on patios.

- Euchre Players:  Don’t forget to sign up by May 14th for a spot in the tournament during our May event!

Thank you everyone who participated in Pet-a-Palooza, making it a huge success!

Monday was great as we were able to introduce potential pet owners with opportunities to take home a new addition to their families.  Indiana Animal Care and Control, ARPO & Indiana Human Society were excited to be here.  Please keep in mind for the next two weeks, we will still honor waiving the initial pet fee for anyone whom adopts a pet from any of these three organizations.

Tuesday and Wednesday we handed out pet goodie bags.  If you missed out on getting one, we still have a few available at the office.  So stop by!

And now the winners of Legacy’s Cutest Pet Contest.  It was too hard to choose just one, so we chose a 1st place winner for dogs and cats.  We also added a 2nd place winner for both categories as well as a 3rd place winner for the dog category.

April 9^th – April 13^th is Pet-a-Palooza Week!



Week long list of events!!

Monday:  Indianapolis Animal Care & Control will be here from 4-7 PM with an array of dogs and cats for adoption!  Their adoption fee is $60 and all animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and able to go home that night.  Best of all is any cat or dog that is adopted from animal care will receive they pet fee waived courtesy of the Legacy!

Donations will be collected all month.  These items they are in need of:
Bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap, old towels/blankets and canned or dry dog/cat food.

Tuesday & Wednesday: FREE pet Dog & Cat goodie bags!  Stop by and get one!

Thursday: Cutest pet contest winner announced!  Start submitting your cute Cat & Dog photos TODAY to Leasing@homeisthelegacy.com for your pets chance to win a $25 PetSmart card as well a free month of pet rent courtesy of the Legacy.

Teams are now forming for the Spring 2012 time frame at Circle City Athletics. 

Circle City Athletics offers multiple recreational sports for adults to get involved and participate in year round.  There is indoor volleyball, sand volleyball, soccer, flag football, softball, kickball, dodgeball and bowling!  You can either form your own team with a group of friends, or join a team that has already begun the formation process.

Congratulations are in order for both JaMarcus Fanning as well as Deb Fuller. 

 JaMarcus has just been promoted to the Manager position here at Legacy Towns & Flats.  He is thrilled about the promotion and is looking forward to the opportunity to be the main Manager here at Legacy.  If you see him around the community – give him a high five!    Congrats, JaMarcus!

Deb Fuller will be leaving Legacy to open up J.C. Hart’s newest apartment community, One One Six, located at 116th Street and College in downtown Carmel.  Her last day here at Legacy will be Wednesday, February 29th.  Deb has been such a phenomenal asset to Legacy and she will be tremendously missed!  I would encourage you to stop in and tell Deb goodbye and wish her luck during this exciting transition.  Way to go, Deb!

Have you visited the (Booth Tarkington) Civic Theatre

I (Jade) recently visited the Carmel Civic Theatre with my good friend, Ashley.  We attended the play, Lend Me A Tenor, which is NOW SHOWING!  What is Lend Me A Tenor about, you ask? 

“Humor your funny bone with a delicious dose of pure, operatic nuttiness that will have everyone rolling in the aisles. In Ken Ludwig’s zany comedy LEND ME A TENOR, the Cleveland Grand Opera Company has secured the world-famous tenor “Il Stupendo” Tito Morelli, in his greatest role, Otello, for their 1934 gala season-opener. Unfortunately, due to well-intended but misguided meddling, he is given an overdose of tranquilizers, rendering him unable to perform. The local impresario, Saunders, frantically devises a solution that will avert a box office catastrophe; he persuades his assistant Max – an aspiring singer – to don Morelli’s costume and convince the audience he is in fact “Il Stupendo.” Max succeeds admirably, but the real star recovers and soon two Otellos are on the loose, resulting in mistaken identities,  ntic entanglements, and fast-paced hilarity.”

  Such a light-hearted and comical play, Lend Me A Tenor was everything and more Ashley and I could have imagined from our first Carmel Civic Theatre experience.  Do yourself a favor:  Turn off the television this weekend and visit the Carmel Civic Theatre.  Lend Me A Tenor will be playing through February 25th.  Buy your tickets online now!
